I think this will work with gluten free substitutes, so I will see how successful I am.
Update: I made this recipe using 1/2 cup gf flour and 1/2 cup almond meal as a substitute for 1 cup flour. My teenage taste testers though preferred it without the frosting which would work better for lunch boxes anyway. Deliciously decadent with the frosting.
